For the last few weeks cgApprentice have been delighted to welcome students from across Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole to our summer club hosted by Talbot Heath School.
Each week a new group of students have designed and developed their very own game using the Unreal Engine, having never used the software before.
The first two days of each week saw boys and girls aged between 7 and 15 learn the fundamentals of the Unreal Engine through a series of small incremental tasks that covered key topics. The remaining days allowed for the creation of a more feature rich and graphics intensive game, complete with environments, sound, lighting, animation and AI (artificial intelligence)!
We are incredibly proud of the games the students created in such a short period of time— below is a small selection of the students games created during our week together. If you would like your child to join us this summer, then we have one further date, starting on the 9th August – for more information, or to book a place, please visit here.
