Talbot Heath Summer Clubs

This five-day course is the perfect introduction to the world of game development! Using the world famous Unreal Engine – the same software used to create games such as Fortnite and TV shows such as The Mandalorian – students will learn how to make their very own 3D game that they can take home to play.

This September, cgApprentice are excited to be launching our first Saturday clubs! Open to pupils aged 11-16 from ANY school, these sessions will be being hosted at partner schools around the Bournemouth and Poole area.

cgApprentice can supply classes covering a range of scripting and programming languages- but by far our most popular is Blueprint, the proprietary visual programming language used in the Epic’s Unreal Engine.

cgApprentice is delighted to announce that it has become an Epic MegaGrants recipient!
Epic Games, the makers of the Unreal Engine and Fortnite, have committed $100 million to support entertainment creators, enterprise professionals, tool developers and educators as they utilise the Unreal Engine to create amazing projects and workflows.
We are excited to announce that cgApprentice has been awarded a MegaGrant to help us develop and extend our range of cutting-edge educational services for schools and colleges. Over the next two years, the partnership between cgApprentice and Epic Games will enable us to embark on a range of exciting new projects that bring the latest VFX and games technologies direct to UK schools and that help establish innovative new curricula that unite creative and technical disciplines.
It’s going to be a busy few months for the cgApprentice team- and we can’t wait to get started!
